RIGHTS OF MURSHID
Mureed should consider his Shaikh the best for him for which he should tie himself only with him and should not share his Ahwal (states) with any one else.If he observes a dream or sees any thing uncommon he should inform his Shaikh only.
He should love his Shaikh because this love will lead him to the love of the Prophet SAW and then to the love of Allah Subhanahu Taala. Love of Shaikh has the greatest role in Salook without this process may be very difficult .
He should do that Wazifa only what is granted to by his Shaikh he should leave all other wazaif granted to him by other Mashaikh. However if his Shaikh attest wazaif granted to him by other Mashaikh and allows him to continue then he may continue them accordingly.
If mureed sits in company of his Shaikh he should stop his zikr, his heart should be completely concentrated upon the heart of Shaikh and should listen to him properly.
He should criticize his Shaikh neither by heart nor verbally .If he does not understand any thing in his company he should keep in his mind the event of Moosa and Khizr (AS).
In the company of Shaikh a mureed should not make his voice louder than the voice of his Shaikh. However it does not mean that he should murmur to the extent that it disturbs his Shaikh. He should treat this problem wisely as Sahaba ( Riwan ullah Ajmaeen) did in company of Rasoolullah (SAW).
