ADVANTAGES OF COMPANY OF A SHEIKH KAMIL
The thing, which is in the heart of Shiekh gradually and steadily goes to the heart of mureed with this, the mureed starts picking habits of his Shiekh and with time more or less his habits become like habits of his Shaikh. As these habits and knowledge are the essence of his whole life he transfers it to his mureed in lesser time.
Even if heart of mureed is not purified completely he begins to realize the drawbacks of his Nafs.
One starts feeling negated in front of his Shaikh which is key to humbleness
Mashaiks are blessed people so those who accompany them are also blessed them.
Books are written for very large community so no author can take care of all the individuals or groups .On the other hand those who are sitting with Mashaikh usually know their nature so he can take care of them in educating them any thing he wants to teach them.
A person who is in company of Mashaikh may have two states .Either he will be in good condition or in bad. If he is in good condition they will be happy with him and will pray for hem by which he will get more and more progress. If his condition is bad they will feel pity towards him and will for him to Allah so that Allaah Subhana change his state from bad to good. As they are the accepted people their Dua may be accepted and he may become a good person.
When a mureed is in the company of his Shaikh he observes him deeply and finds many good points practically what he can not find in books and on the other hand draw backs of mureed are exposed on his shieks so he can take care of them in treating him.
Hearts of Mashaikh are enlightened so the people who are in his company may get this light in their heart which is key for purification of soul.
Allah Subhanahu Taala has ordered us for Suhbate Saliheen i.e. the Company of good people and company of Shaikh is its best form so one can act upon order of Allah Subhanahu Taala.
One thing should be very clear that one should avail company of Shaikh but it does not mean that we should put them in trouble. We can avail this opportunity when it is available i.e. when he wants it. Then it will be useful for mureed otherwise hurting Shiekh may spoil the mureed even more.
